Nathan Crowe

Licensed Financial Associate

My name is Nathan Crowe, and I am a licensed Financial Associate with Advocacy Advisors, a division of Madison Financial Strategies. I earned my degree in Criminal Justice from Middle Tennessee State University in 2016 and shortly thereafter began my law enforcement career with the Chesterfield County Police Department, entering the police academy on January 3, 2017.

Following my graduation from the academy, I spent five years as a patrol officer on the county’s south side, serving in various capacities including Forensic Technician, Field Training Officer, and Rifle Operator. I was later promoted to Detective in the Violent Crimes Unit, Robbery Section, where I spent the final three years of my eight-year law enforcement career.

During my time with the department, I was honored to receive several accolades, including Rookie of the Year in 2018, the Life Saving Award, and the prestigious Harry E. Neal Award from the United States Secret Service Association in 2019 for rescuing individuals from a motel fire. I was also the recipient of five Chief’s Commendation Awards, recognizing both my proactive work as a patrol officer and my contributions to complex investigations within the Violent Crimes Unit.

Throughout my law enforcement career, I developed a deep passion for financial planning. I became increasingly aware of the lack of accessible, relevant financial education available to the first responders I proudly served alongside—individuals who face unique challenges and pressures every day, often without the financial support and guidance they deserve.

This realization inspired a new calling: to provide first responders with high-quality, unbiased financial education tailored specifically to their needs—delivered by someone who has walked in their shoes. As a fiduciary financial advisor, I carry the same level of integrity, dedication, and service that defined my law enforcement career into my work at Advocacy Advisors.

I am committed to ensuring that first responders receive the tools, knowledge, and support necessary to achieve financial security. It is my mission to make Advocacy Advisors the trusted resource for financial education within the first responder community.
